A Wild Barbecue at the National Zoo
As summer draws to a close, we are excited to highlight one of our fantastic full service barbecue celebrations – a truly wild evening at the Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, D.C.
Our team entertained over 750 guests at this absolutely amazing venue. Animal enclosures, zoo signage and themed-attire gave Event Manager Stephanie Phoebus the chance to show off her creative talents!
Our assorted miniature tarts were perfect for this event, offering up something for every taste.
The fresh popcorn station had a very fun and festive vibe, with servers decked out in Safari hats and perfect zoo attire.
Throughout the evening, guests could catch glimpses of the nearby zoo animals – where else can you do that?
Chef Kyle Vermeulen crafted a fantastic menu featuring elegant barbecue dishes including Carolina-style Pulled Pork, Blackened Cajun Chicken, and Lemon Pepper Tuna.

I can’t say enough great things about our entire experience planning our daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Glynis Keith, Catering Manager, with Catering by Seasons.
Everything about working with Catering by Seasons, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal!
Catering By Seasons exceeded my expectation. I used them for a brunch at my house after my son’s bar mitzvah. The level of professionalism along with their responsiveness made me feel at ease right away.
