This recent wedding reception, held at the National Aquarium in Washington, D.C. was simply spectacular. The aquarium – definitely a bold choice for an event – provided a creative and fun back drop for the night. The colorful fish and colorful food, paired with elegant décor were absolutely stunning (and so fun to photograph)!

These little guys were at the entrance to greet the guests with a bright pop of color. Once in the dining room, many of the guests uttered shouts of surprise at the sight of this tiny alligator (below). His exhibit was right in the center of the room, giving him a front row seat for the night’s festivities.

The full bar situated between the eel tanks and the exotic sting rays was a favorite spot for many of the party-goers.

Our baby spinach and strawberry salad, avocado corn salsa, and vegan stuffed mushrooms were just a few of the favorite appetizers from this event.

And of course, we never forget the details. Situating the table around the many tanks helped add great ambient lighting, casting lots of different colors. Each table also had personalized details – with a piece of the past from the happy couple, telling the story of their lives together.

We really love these unique weddings! They definitely have an individualized feel and a lot of charm.

Everything about working with Catering by Seasons, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal!

I can’t say enough great things about our entire experience planning our daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Glynis Keith, Catering Manager, with Catering by Seasons.

Catering By Seasons exceeded my expectation. I used them for a brunch at my house after my son’s bar mitzvah. The level of professionalism along with their responsiveness made me feel at ease right away.
