Catering by Seasons with Green Drinks Annapolis
As part of the Buy Local Challenge this week, Catering by Seasons and La Prima partnered with Green Drinks Annapolis to provide farm fresh food to over 150 guests last night. This energized corporate event took place at beautiful London Town and Gardens in Edgewater, Maryland.
Earlier this week our farmers harvested fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, kale, radishes, carrots and watermelon from Groundworks Farm in Maryland. Pasture raised chickens were also prepared for the event.
Our full specialty menu included:
Vegetable Chips
Fresh kale, carrots and radishes sliced thin then crisped with salt and spices
Basil Dip
Made from garden basil and sundried tomatoes
Mediterranean Mezze Station
Including edamame hummus, mushrooms, locally grown eggplant, feta cheese and pita chips
Crab Crostini
Lump crab meat with avocado served atop focaccia bread
Chicken Skewers
Made with pasture raised and grass fed chickens from our partner farm
Golden Gazpacho
Chilled golden tomatoes, fresh cucumber, pepper, scallion and cilantro
served with jalapeño jack cheese sticks
Fresh Watermelon
Red and yellow watermelon skewered with feta cheese
Guests were blown away by the fabulous centerpieces from Intrigue Design and Decor.
Speakers discussed important environmental initiatives and community resources. Featured above is La Prima President Dave Evans discussing the importance of local farms and organically grown foods.
The evening wrapped up with a tour of the green facilities at London Town and a beautiful sunset along the South River.

Reviews
Catering By Seasons exceeded my expectation. I used them for a brunch at my house after my son’s bar mitzvah. The level of professionalism along with their responsiveness made me feel at ease right away.
Everything about working with Catering by Seasons, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal!
I can’t say enough great things about our entire experience planning our daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Glynis Keith, Catering Manager, with Catering by Seasons.
