Couples are Saying “I Do” to Smaller Celebrations

Written by Glynis Keith (Senior Event Manager) @caterrrgirl

Couples who can’t wait to start their lives together are turning to trusted professionals to help them navigate federal, state and local guidelines on gathering, social distancing and celebrating amidst a pandemic.

Catering by Seasons is proud to partner with some of the DMV’s most experienced and talented vendors to create stunning and safe celebrations for our clients.  And while things may look a bit different than they did in 2019, there is no shortage of love, joy and hope shared between the bride and groom and their family and friends.

Aix La Chapelle was the beautiful backdrop for this couple who married in early July.

Upon arrival, guests were offered custom masks provided by the bride and groom and guests were seated by household for both the ceremony and plated dinner.

Vendors were temperature checked upon arrival and servers wore masks and face shields as well as gloves that were changed at regular intervals throughout the event.

Delicious Hors D’oeuvres were served in individual vessels and fruit skewers and wedding cake were individually plated and served to guests after dinner.

Beautiful florals were provided by Edge Floral Design, Musicians for the intimate ceremony and DJ for dinner were provided by Washington Talent Agency and these spectacular images were captured by Jack Hartzman of Washington Talent Photo.

A family backyard celebration was the perfect place for this couple’s I Dos.  Immediate family and close friends enjoyed the socially distanced ceremony and served buffet.

Custom masks and sanitizer were provided and served as reminder that safety is a top priority.

Catering by Seasons provided a fresh and delicious summer themed drop-off buffet style dinner of grilled salmon, house smoked tenderloin, roasted potatoes, grilled summer vegetables and an arugula, strawberry and tomato salad.

Catering by Seasons is a leader in the development and implementation of safety and sanitation procedures that exceed the guidelines set forth by the CDC.  We have invested in innovative safety protocols and creative delivery systems that allow our clients to focus on what matters most…….

Everything about working with Catering by Seasons, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal!

Catering By Seasons exceeded my expectation. I used them for a brunch at my house after my son’s bar mitzvah. The level of professionalism along with their responsiveness made me feel at ease right away.

I can’t say enough great things about our entire experience planning our daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Glynis Keith, Catering Manager, with Catering by Seasons.
