The Capitol Area Food Bank is the largest organization in the Washington metro area working to solve hunger and its companion problems: chronic undernutrition, heart disease, and obesity. They have locations in DC and Virginia, and offer number of program opportunities for corporate volunteering. Check their website for a calendar of scheduled events, or consider options from the multiple custom engagement opportunities they outline as well.
