Fall Wedding at Woodend Sanctuary
On October 26th, Ruby and Steven tied the knot at the beautiful Woodend Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, MD.
Catering by Seasons had the pleasure of taking part in this fairy tale wedding.
The fall landscape was perfect, with colorful falling leaves and even a curious deer peeking through the trees.
The tables were set for a traditional family-style meal, with beautiful wild flowers and rustic details.
Ruby and Steven’s first course was our signature harvest salad with slivers of butternut squash and dried figs atop bright greens.
Their dinner featured the family’s own Granma Chicken recipe in a seasoned sauce with sweet onions and carrots fresh from our partner farm.
A beautiful wedding cake decorated with birds was a special homage to the Sanctuary and it’s natural elements.
In a wonderful review on WeddingWire, Ruby wrote:
“I cannot say enough good things about Glynis Keith and the team at Catering By Seasons. They made my wedding the most elegant, smooth, DELICIOUS, and all around beautiful event I could have ever imagined…
After the wedding, I was regaled with stories of not only how INCREDIBLE the carrot souffle and granma chicken were (a family recipe that Chef Kyle elevated to ambrosia-like status!), but also about how Glynis had brought them extra spoons, extra sauce or whatever they needed. The food was one of the most important elements to us at our wedding and I never had any doubt that CBS would do an outstanding job.”
Thank you, Ruby! We love to hear such great testimonials from our clients.
The elegant touches to this magical evening made it truly one to remember. Our team at Catering by Seasons is proud to be a part of another fantastic celebration of life and love.
Ruby and Steven, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Catering By Seasons exceeded my expectation. I used them for a brunch at my house after my son’s bar mitzvah. The level of professionalism along with their responsiveness made me feel at ease right away.
I can’t say enough great things about our entire experience planning our daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Glynis Keith, Catering Manager, with Catering by Seasons.
Everything about working with Catering by Season, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal!
