Gatsby-themed 60th Birthday Party at Oxon Hill Manor
Catering by Seasons in partnership with SimplyFabuleux kicked off this 60th Birthday Party in style with a roaring 20’s Gatsby-themed event at Oxon Hill Manor.
Just outside of Washington, D.C., this fantastic site brought old world charm to a fun and exciting event. And the elegant décor from Event Designers, Tasya and Sherri, was from another age.
Inside, the event was complete with casino room, 1920’s décor, and women in flapper dresses handing out candy cigars.
Hors d’oeuvre were passed throughout the night as guests enjoyed the casino games.
Executive Chef Kyle Vermeulen brought the night to life with innovative and fun food selections. A miniature sliders station featured sirloin sliders and Boardwalk-style french fries and sweet potato fries. A live pasta bar allowed guests to order their own pasta creations with choice of sauce and toppings.
Even the cakes were elegant interpretations of the time period – with decorative gold and green swirls and ornate custom cake toppers. Delicious and beautiful!
This picturesque venue was the perfect location for this glamorous 1920’s-themed celebration. Our team had a fantastic time with the SimplyFabuleux team and we look forward to doing more fun and exciting themed-events.
