MOTHER’S DAY BRUNCH INSPIRATION
“Motherhood: all love begins and ends there.”—Robert Browning
Mother’s Day is the perfect time to make your mother feel special and loved. Whether you ordered our curated brunch menu, or you will create a menu of your own, we think brunch is the perfect Mother’s Day meal. Here we provide a few suggestions to ensure that the day is as magical as the mother you celebrate!
1. Start with flowers.
From the farmer’s market or local shop, create a seasonal bouquet with a color scheme that compliments your table. Pretty linens, dishes, and glassware will ensure the table is elegant and inviting.
2. Craft a cocktail.
Whether cocktail or cocktail, add something bubbly, a touch of sweet juice, and float a favorite berry.
3. Prepare a fresh and simple meal.
A quiche with favorite herbs and vegetables, fruit salad, crispy roasted potatoes, and biscuits with jam. The menu need not be fussy or time consuming.
4. Add a sweet finish.
Whether you pick up a fruit tart from the local bakery, or whip up fresh whipped cream and serve with seasonal berries, dessert is the perfect way to finish your brunch gathering.
5. Hand craft a greeting card.
Homemade cards aren’t just for kids. A nice piece of stationary, a few creative touches, and sincere sentiments. A handwritten and crafted card can be the most meaningful gift of all.
6. Keep your gifts useful and memorable.
We love the idea of gifts with a purpose. A lovely journal, a gift card to a local spa, or a houseplant in a pretty pot.
Whatever you choose to commemorate this special day, we hope love, joy, and good food abound this Mother’s Day.
Everything about working with Catering by Season, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal!
Catering By Seasons exceeded my expectation. I used them for a brunch at my house after my son’s bar mitzvah. The level of professionalism along with their responsiveness made me feel at ease right away.
I can’t say enough great things about our entire experience planning our daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Glynis Keith, Catering Manager, with Catering by Seasons.
