La Prima Food Group and Catering by Seasons are pleased to announce their new partnership with Groundworks Farm, and to congratulate Groundworks Farm on its recent acquisition of 55 acres of prime farmland in Pittsville, Maryland on the Eastern Shore.

Groundworks Farm operates under the popular Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model, which provides a direct connection between the customer and farmer. Farmers get important cash flow at the beginning of each season, when paid in advance for a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly (in winter) share. In return, shareholders (customers) get the best produce, eggs, meat and cheese available and excellent value for their money. On their new land, farmers Margaret and Kevin plan to grow a wide variety of vegetables using only sustainable, natural methods. In addition, they raise and sell pasture raised chickens and pigs, as well as eggs from their pasture raised hens.

The Kickstarter campaign offers exciting rewards such as merchandise, Margaret’s famous preserves, bed and breakfast style weekends on the farm and more – all only available online through the month of March!

I can’t say enough great things about our entire experience planning our daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Glynis Keith, Catering Manager, with Catering by Seasons.

Alberto is the best catering manager ever!! Everything about working with Catering by Season, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal!

It was a pleasure to work with Alberto Trevizo and Catering by Seasons. Alberto was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, and was very accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding one year.
