Pretty in Pink Bat Mitzvah
The Fillmore in downtown Silver Spring was the setting for this glam pink Bat Mitzvah celebration. The Kids Lounge, with its white tufted leather sofas and silver sequin tables, was front and center on the stage. The Adults partied on the floor on black suede sofas and mirrored tables.
Cocktails and Hors d’oeuvres
The evening started with adults on the balcony and kids in the Vertigo Lounge. Adult hors d’oeuvres included Chicken and Waffle Skewers with a Cherry Maple Syrup drizzle, Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup Shots, Baby Lamb Chops and Diced Tuna with Mango in Won Ton Cones. Kids enjoyed Mac-N-Cheese Muffins, Mini Franks-in-a-Blanket and Veggie Shooters.
The Feast
Grab and Go Dinner Stations kept the party focused on the dance floor! Adult Fare included Honey Sriracha Fried Chicken Sliders, Filet Mignon Sliders with a Sweet Onion Compote, Mason Jar Salads and Beef and Chicken Satay served from Chinese take-out containers.
Kids feasted on New York Style Thin Crust Pizza, Buttermilk Battered Chicken Tenders and Steak Fries.
A surprise for guests and the Bat Mitzvah Girl herself was the big dessert reveal. Giant Donut Walls filled with specially crafted Duck Donut Treats, an Ice Cream Sundae Bar and an eight foot Candy Station were wheeled out to Confetti Cannon Blasts and Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar on Me”.

Alberto is the best catering manager ever!! Everything about working with Catering by Season, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal!
It was a pleasure to work with Alberto Trevizo and Catering by Seasons. Alberto was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with, and was very accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding one year.
I can’t say enough great things about our entire experience planning our daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Glynis Keith, Catering Manager, with Catering by Seasons.
