The venue offers several creative options for picturesque Spring events. Grounds are landscaped with native plants, and absolutely stunning for an outdoor ceremony. The history behind the cottage serves up great conversations over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Finally, enjoy a fully seated dinner and desserts under a tent overlooking the cottage.

River Farm

River Farm events are perfect for the Spring. A garden lovers paradise, the grounds are beautifully landscaped with formal and informal gardens, as well as scenic views of the of the Potomac River.
The manor-style historic house rests on 25 acres, offering endless photographic opportunities. Have your ceremony and cocktail hour in the gardens. With a capacity of 150 seated on the tented patio, dinner will be unforgettable overlooking the Potomac River. Then slip away into the mansion’s great hall for dancing and desserts!

Oxon Hill Manor
Stately Spring Estate
Sitting high on a hill with a fantastic view of the Potomac River is Oxon Hill Manor. Constructed in 1928, the manor and grounds include formal English gardens and exquisitely appointed rooms.
Enjoy cocktail hour surrounding the reflecting pool. Delight in dinner on a tented brick patio perfect for entertaining. With its beautiful gardens and lush rose bushes, this is another venue perfect for the Spring.

There has been an increase in “out of season” weddings lately. But Spring still dominates the wedding scene and it is easy to see why. Combining both fresh seasonal menus with a lovely Spring day is a recipe for success!

Reviews
Everything about working with Catering by Season, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal!
Catering By Seasons exceeded my expectation. I used them for a brunch at my house after my son’s bar mitzvah. The level of professionalism along with their responsiveness made me feel at ease right away.
I can’t say enough great things about our entire experience planning our daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Glynis Keith, Catering Manager, with Catering by Seasons.
