Some Touching Words from a Summer Wedding
Every so often we have events that test our strengths, whether it be a difficult menu, a navigation nightmare, or the inevitable uncertainty of the weather. When faced with these trying situations, we do our best to work together and rise above, delivering fantastic service and fabulous events regardless of the circumstances.
Recently we had such a wedding, with an outdoor ceremony and reception that was almost ruined due to rain and winds.
The note we later received from the mother of the bride was deeply touching, helping us to remember what really makes this business worth it…
“There are NO words to convey my gratitude and admiration for your team. Truly, from their very core, they performed at a level very few have ever, or will ever, achieve and in a very challenging set of circumstances.
As you know, our daughter’s wedding was to be outside in the backyard of our home. I wish you could have seen how beautiful and stunning they had everything looking, not only where the guests were to be seated, but also the patio surrounding area. Dina and the entire team had everything pristine, tables and special areas set for guests all complimenting the floral arrangements and taking advantage of the garden setting and teasing the senses, was Chef Kyle’s mastery at the grill. All at the ready, Mother Nature had something else in mind. With the wedding ceremony only 30 minutes away, we realized the ceremony had to be held inside due to rain.
Enter ‘on the spot’ Plan B as without a hitch, grumble or look, the team launched into action and perfectly orchestrated the change for the ceremony to be inside and did so with minutes as linens, flowers, flavored water containers and dishes were rushed inside as the rain poured down. I have no idea how they were able to make this change so seamlessly and so quickly without anyone; the guests, wedding party, bride or mother of the bride being aware or inconvenienced. It’s like it ‘just magically happened’ and there it was; flowers, music, waters being passed and guests ready and eager to see our daughter and her fiancé become man and wife. The ceremony was beautiful, the bride and groom happy and ready to meet their guests and everyone on your team acting/looking cool, calm and collected.
Mother Nature has an interesting sense of humor as right after their vows, the rain stopped. Enter Plan C as your team, without hesitation or help, moved everything back outside making it look and feel as if it were always planned that way. We dined, danced, laughed and cried (happy tears) until 11:30 pm when the rain started again and once again, Plan D was immediately implemented with drinks, plates, flowers, food and guests going back inside.
I wish I were a stronger writer so that I could articulate my gratitude and give them the credit they so deserve. You know how rigid I am about our service standard. Your team took SERVICE to a whole new level resetting the bar. They were amazing, demonstrating an internal level of commitment few people have or few companies are fortunate to employ.
Please give my deep appreciation and gratitude to each person on the team. They truly delighted and impressed. Thank you for being who you are individually and as a team.”
We greatly appreciate the heart-warming praise.

I can’t say enough great things about our entire experience planning our daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Glynis Keith, Catering Manager, with Catering by Seasons.
Alberto is the best catering manager ever!! Everything about working with Catering by Season, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal!
Catering By Seasons exceeded my expectation. I used them for a brunch at my house after my son’s bar mitzvah. The level of professionalism along with their responsiveness made me feel at ease right away.
