Under the Jerusalem Stars Themed Retirement Party
On Saturday June 4, Catering by Seasons was honored to cater a night of dinner and dancing celebrating Rabbi Jack Luxemburg’s 35 years of service as spiritual leader of Temple Beth Ami. The evening, Under the Jerusalem Stars, featured food, décor and entertainment inspired by Rabbi Luxemburgs second favorite city, Jerusalem!
Appetizers included a Hummus Station with ground beef and chopped egg, tahini and hummus as well as passed Hors D’oeuvres of Stuffed Dates, Mini Knishes, Lamb Meatball Skewers and Mini Short Rib Tacos.
Guests were wowed by the transformation of the Kinneret Social Hall where stars twinkled from above, pictures of Jerusalem at night were projected onto the walls and the centerpieces created by DaVinci’s Florists incorporated fresh produce including Jaffa oranges, artichokes, asparagus spears and radishes.
The Dinner Stations were set up amongst produce stalls designed to replicate the shuk. The nearly 400 guests dined on Stuffed Salmon, Mediterranean Mezze, Chicken and Steak Kabobs, Grilled Vegetable Tarts and a traditional Falafel Bar.

Catering By Seasons exceeded my expectation. I used them for a brunch at my house after my son’s bar mitzvah. The level of professionalism along with their responsiveness made me feel at ease right away.
Everything about working with Catering by Seasons, from the planning, communication, to the execution was phenomenal!
I can’t say enough great things about our entire experience planning our daughter's Bat Mitzvah with Glynis Keith, Catering Manager, with Catering by Seasons.
