Venue Spotlight – Visarts in Rockville
If you’ve looked through our blog, you probably already know that we love to work at Visarts in Rockville, Maryland.
This venue has prime placement, right in downtown Rockville. It is walking distance from the DC metro and only minutes from the highways.
We love to work at Visarts because it is a fun modern space that is just perfect for entertaining any size party. With seating for 180 plus a dance floor or 250 for a standing reception, this venue is great for weddings, galas, bar and bat mitzvahs, and more! The Buchanan Ballroom has two full walls of windows that overlook Rockville Town Square, offering an open airy feel to events of all sizes.
As a non-profit arts space, Visarts has an array of different art pieces on display. You can schedule a cocktail hour or small reception among the artists’ studios, with the unique backdrop of paintings, glasswork, pottery and more. Not to mention, there is no sales tax on these rentals!

“Our wedding reception was magical from the moment we stepped into the Concourse at VisArts. The set-up seamlessly allowed the flow of people to mingle and eat and drink during our cocktail hour, all while listening to music. And, when I first stepped into the Buchanan Room, my breath was taken away. The lighting inside the room and outside the windows created an enchanted atmosphere.
